This page explains how to permanently delete your SeaCall app account and
associated data. SeaCall is a mental health application developed by the
Forward Seamen's Union of India (FSUI). This page is provided in compliance with
Google Play's account deletion policy.
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Once deleted, you
will lose access to your profile, chat history, saved preferences, and all other data associated
with your account. If you have questions before proceeding, contact us at

Overview
If you created a SeaCall account through our mobile application, you have the right to request
permanent deletion of your account and the personal data associated with it. Account
deactivation or temporary disabling does not qualify as account deletion — we
will permanently remove your account and associated data as described below.
How to Delete Your Account
To delete your SeaCall account, follow these steps:
Make sure you are logged into your SeaCall account on the device you are using.
Click the "Delete My Account" button below.
Review the confirmation prompt carefully and confirm that you want to permanently delete
your account.
Your deletion request will be processed. You will receive a confirmation once your account
and data have been deleted.

Click the button below to permanently delete your SeaCall account and all associated data.
If you are unable to use the button above (for example, if you no longer have the app
installed or cannot log in), you may request account deletion by emailing
seacallapp@gmail.com
with the subject line "SeaCall Account Deletion Request". Please include the email address
associated with your account so we can verify your identity and process your request.
Data That Will Be Deleted
When you delete your SeaCall account, we will permanently delete the following data associated
with your account:

Conversations and interactions with AI-based chatbot features
Social Login Data
Information obtained through social media login (if applicable)
Usage Data
App interaction history, feature usage, and session data linked to your account
Location Data
Location information associated with your account (e.g., from Google Maps
integration)
We will also request deletion of your data from third-party service providers that process data
on our behalf, including OpenAI (AI chatbot services) and Google Maps Platform, where applicable.
Data That May Be Retained
In certain circumstances, we may retain limited data even after your account is deleted, for
legitimate reasons such as:

Any retained data will be kept only for the stated purpose and will not be used for other

Deletion Timeline
Account deletion requests are processed within a reasonably quick period of time:
Immediate: Your account will be deactivated and you will be logged out
upon confirmation.
Within 7 days: Your account and primary data will be permanently deleted
from our active systems.
Within 30 days: All backup copies and data held by third-party service
providers will be permanently purged.
If you submitted your request via email, we will acknowledge receipt within 48 hours and
complete deletion within 30 days, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
In-App Account Deletion
You can also delete your account directly from within the SeaCall app:
Open the SeaCall app and log in to your account.
Navigate to Settings (or your profile/account section).
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm your decision when prompted.
